New family member.

We have a new family member. He came for a visit a week ago to see if he would fit with our other family members. But it was an almost given that he would stay. 2 years old and his status in finding a permanent home was not good. He is disruptive, the cats hate him because he follows behind them caboose like and little dog is peeved he now has to share. He is learning, slowly, and one of these days one of the cats is going to let him have it. He is not a bad dog, just young.

I know this is way late. Computer acting up. New computer wouldn't work so it went back to the store. Being seen to by the Geek Squad. Old computer is making horrible sounds. We shall see what will happen and whether or not transfer of everything will work. I will try and catch up to the present and then it will be a day to day (hopefully) from there.

I don't know why it is called a Christmas cactus, I've found they bloom on and off during a year. I made the mistake of re-potting this one into a much larger container, not realising it likes to be pot bound to bloom. This is its first blooms in years.
